I’m in St. Louis at the moment, having lunch while I wait for another appointment for an injection of Mozobil. It helps to stimulate stem cell production in my bone marrow. Tomorrow will be the first day of pheresis, in which they harvest stem cells.
With luck, they’ll get enough of the cells in the first day. When they have enough, I can head home for a week or so. I’ve been away from home for a week just getting ready for this.
Today also happens to be the thirteenth anniversary of my marriage to my wonderful wife, Tammy. I’m very much looking forward to the next thirteen years with her beside me.
